Founded in 1974, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association (PASMA), is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers. As such it advances safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors and represents the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users.
IPAF – International Powered Access Federation
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense — through providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes. It is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members who include manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users.
UKATA – United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association
UKATA sets standards in asbestos training and ensures that its members meet those standards.

The CITB are the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction industry, working with industry, for industry to deliver a safe, professional and fully qualified UK construction workforce.
The CITB work with construction companies to help them improve skills, increase their competitive edge and respond to the many challenges employers face – from the low carbon agenda, through to reducing costs on-site and recruiting the best and brightest talent for their sector.
The CITB can provide CITB-Construction Skills Grants towards the cost of training to ensure the long term growth and developments of the industry, by means of a dedicated scheme that helps to contribute towards the costs of training, recognised qualifications and development.
