We originally started as Optimum Training in 2007 – a division of Optimum Drywall Systems Ltd.
After 4 years of success and many outstanding reviews, The Training Societi Ltd was established in 2011 to roll out this essential service to more companies.
Today we still provide the highest standards of training from experienced consultants.

Formerly the Director responsible for Health & Safety at All Mass Cladding, a large roofing and cladding company that worked all over the UK.
After helping to build the company with his bare hands from scratch, to the company that almost (in his words) “clad the world”, he became responsible for ensuring that all HSE & Site Health & Safety Rules and Regulations were adhered to and applied on multiple construction sites (All Mass were an A-List Subcontractor who worked with all the Principle Contractors). This also included putting in a system which would ensure all employed and subcontracted gangs were up to date with training.
Alan’s enthusiasm and passion for his subject as well as his vast memory of experiences and a desire to ‘give back’ makes him the perfect person to set the standards and direct our training team. He has “walked the walk”, and now he confidently “talks the talk”and can emphasise and help with delegates and business owners to guide them through the maze of Health and Safety. Alan is determined to set industry standards and provide real quality training, and pass on his enthusiasm to all of our candidates as well as provide them with laughter.
Being a bit of a perfectionist, Alan’s motto is “if you’re not going to do it properly it’s not worth doing” Alan always gives that bit extra – which is so important in this industry.
An original founder of The Training Societi is a bit of an entrepreneur with a creative flare who likes to see the world a bit differently from others. A sucker for a challenge, originally she headed up the training department team at a Brandon Tool Hire from 2005, then founded Top Height Training in 2008.
She left to join forces with the Alan in 2012. Having headed up the sales for several years, Rowena’s role has now shifted to business development & growth. She is grateful for all the people who have helped and advised including the investors, coaches and mentors. With a great sense of humour, many of our marketing ideas and materials are ideas that have come from Rowena.
Together with the creative input of Graphic Designer Jon Askill, her aim is to make people laugh and to introduce the notoriously dry subject of Health & Safety as something that can be made funny and therefore memorable. Like Alan, Rowena is also a genuine, friendly, fair and helpful young lady who knows her stuff. Rowena’s aim is to make our customers lives a little bit happier and easier.
